The 79th annual Hanover Ag Fair was a fantastic weekend – the events, weather, food and community spirit were all better than you could ask for!
We were thrilled to once again welcome guests from all over Manitoba to Hanover Ag Exhibition Park over our 4 day weekend.

Hanover Ag’s Bull Riders Invitational presented by Steinbach Feeds was another successful event at the Keystone Agri-Motive Livestock Arena. Thanks to Bull Riders Canada and Crossfire Bullriding for their partnership.
Day 1’s championship round saw 2 successful rides from previous riders. Gilmar Santana rode MBB Sock Monkey for 87 points, the highest so far. However, in the final ride of the night, Jeremy Masionneuve took on the many-time Bull of the Event winner How High from RKO Bucking Bulls for 88 points! This outstanding ride pushed him to the top of the leaderboard and secured the win on day number 1.
In the final round of the day 2, just 2 riders were able to make the 8 second buzzer. 2022 BRC champion Fabian Dueck, who is has retirement on the mind, made his return to a familiar arena where he was a previous winner and rode MBB Old School Kool for 84.5 points. However, it was the number 2 cowboy Hayden Mulvey with the highest score of the night – 86.5 points on MBB Real Bad Raisin.

What a spectacular night! On Saturday, August 16th fans were treated to an amazing concert by two of the hottest rising acts!
Ryan Langdon from Ontario headlined the concert and was supported by Manitoba’s own The Sean Taylor Band!
Just as the band finished up, the town was treated to a fireworks display from CanFire – the perfect end to a great day!
The arm wrestling competition is a tried and true Fair favourite. This is the third year since the event has been renamed to honour one of the past organizers, Kevin Toews.
We are fortunate to now have Billy Berg and his team organize and run the event currently. They are a great group dedicated to the sport of arm wrestling in Manitoba and beyond.
Congratulations to this year’s winner Kyle Backlund and Nick Penner who took 2nd place.

The Fairway Ford Mainstage was jam-packed with action at the Hanover Ag Fair! Particularly so on Saturday afternoon for the Live Entertainment on the Mainstage!
A showcase for local talent putting a spotlight on their artistic ability, culture and traditions. We were honoured to have such amazing Manitoba talent perform for us. Thank you to Morgan Grace, Revelation Martial Arts, Alex Jay Hamm, Deception Drive and the Mason Hoop Dancers!

This was the first time we have had Manitoba Mud Mafia out to the Hanover Ag Fair to host ATV Mud Races in the Southwood Ventures Speedway. We could not have asked for a better event. Thank you to their crew and all of the competitors for making this new partnership a successful one!
