The board of directors, sponsors, organizing committees and all of the volunteers, wish to extend this official invitation to you and your family to come and make some memories.

The Hanover Ag Fair is an outdoor event, and that’s what makes it special. Come prepared for the weather. No refunds will be given in the event that it is too rainy, too windy, too hot, too cold, too sunny, or too dark, or anything else outside of our control. Schedule subject to change without notice.

Proof of a valid negative Coggins test is required for all equine entering the Hanover Ag Exhibition Park or affiliated with the Hanover Ag Fair. Set times for equine entering the grounds are as follows:
Friday - 6am-10am for CWHA - 4:30pm-8:30pm for MRCA
Saturday - 6am-5pm

Some of the best riders from across Canada are coming to put on a great show, trying to go home with the prize money, the bragging rights and that shiny new buckle. Steve’s Livestock rodeo arena is one of the best places to witness heart thumping, up close action.

Hosted by the Canadian Western Horse Association

Riders of all ages and experience levels come to compete in a variety of classes and disciplines. Judges score animal and rider for their appearance, control, movement and many other subtleties. It turns out there is more to riding a horse than just jumping on its back! It’s a really great event for horse enthusiasts.

Designed to educate children about the rules of the road and basic traffic signs. Participants drive battery-powered, kid-sized cars through a mini streetscape.

Keystone Agri-Motive Excavator Rodeo

Friday at 6:00pm, Saturday at 1:00pm, finals on Saturday at 6:30pm
Location of this event is at the northeast corner of the parking lot
Try out your operating skills in this side by side timed competition
Registration will take place onsite at the event

Amateur Strongman Competition

Saturday, 1:00pm
This will be a 4 event competition – Log press, truck harness pull, farmer walk and car dead lift.
We will be working with a local competitor and trainer.
Event will be capped at 20 competitors – 15 guys, 5 gals.
The events will be run in a head to head format. Entry fee is $40 per person. There will be prizes.

There will be two one hour sessions. Only $20 per person!

DSC_2204-1 fairThe Hanover Ag Fair is the largest community event held each summer. The Hanover Ag Society realizes its need for volunteers and values your service and support. It takes over 100 volunteers to put on an event such as the Fair. There are lots of opportunities to help with set-up and prep before the fair, clean up after the fair and many, many positions during the fair such as selling wristbands at the front and back gates, guest info, canteens, ground maintenance and helping with specific events.

*There is no overnight security on Thursday night. The Hanover Ag Fair provides hired overnight security on Friday and Saturday nights starting at 10 pm. Vendors need to have their booths ready and service vehicles cleared when the gates open each day. Vehicle access to your booth will be restricted until the end of each day. All vendors should have their own liability insurance. The Hanover Ag Fair is covered and protected by its insurance in the event of an incident on the grounds. You will not be protected by our insurance. You should have your own.
