Allissa EmpsonAllissa Empson – Spring Rodeo Chairperson
Allissa has always enjoyed the Hanover Fair weekend. It is a time where friends, that are more like family, gather together and have a good time. As those friends got older and started doing their own things the tradition became smaller. With more time on her hands on that weekend, Allissa decided it was time to become a part of the excitement. In doing so she found a new, amazing group of people that have now become like family. In 2013, Allissa organized the return of the Demolition Derby. She is often found on the Hanover Ag grounds helping the guys with anything she can, usually making them laugh with her attempts at being strong. Allisssa loves all aspects of rodeo and enjoys taking pictures and being behind the scenes where all the action is. For Allissa it makes all the hard work that is put into it worth it when the weekend of events come along and she gets to see how many people are enjoying themselves.
