On behalf of the Board of the Hanover Ag Fair, thank-you for participating in the Fair for 2010. Whether it was by attending any one of the many events and activities both on and off the grounds, or by volunteering your time to help in the running and organizing of the Fair, or whether it was through your financial contribution or in-kind services and equipment, a huge thank-you to you. This event could not enjoy its present level of success without your participation. The part you played this year was deeply appreciated.

There’s still lots to see and do at the Hanover Ag Fair today in Grunthal. Cowboy Church at 9:00 with Community Church Service at 10:30. There will be a golf cart shuttle from the Arena Parking lot for those who need assistance to walk in to the stage area on the grounds. Stay for lunch and music all afternoon and check out the Ranch Rodeo at 2:00. Juggler Robin Chestnut and local band McKenzie Road are featured on the Fairway Ford Mainstage leading up to the fireworks fianle by Canfire Pyrotechnics at 10 pm. Lots of other attractions today as well.
CCMA award winning artist Deric Ruttan takes to the Fairway Ford Mainstage tonight at 8:00. But there’s so much more than that today at the Fair. There’s the parade, the World Famous Grunthal Chicken Barbecue, Ag on the Moove, MRCA/CCA Rodeo, inflatables, barrel rides, petting zoo, Horse drawn wagon rides and lots more. More events and activities go today at the 65th Hanover Ag Fair in Grunthal. Start off with the Pancake Breakfast, check out the 4H Beef Show & Sale, Horse Drawn Wagon Rides & Heritage Tours, MRCA/CCA Rodeo, Fairway Ford Mainstage performances with Julie Fehr, and Classic Overdrive, as well as the Cowboy Cabaret social at the Grunthal Arena. As a programming note, the So You Think You’re Family’s Got Talent Top 20 show for tonight will NOT be running. In its place, Julie Fehr will play at 6:30, and Classic Overdrive at 8:00 on the Fairway Ford Mainstage. Opening ceremonies for the 65th Hanover Ag Fair begin today at 6:30 pm. The first event, the Grunthal Lumber/ECP Bullarama starts at 7:00. Tickets are $8.00. For weekend tickets information click here.Ticket booths at the Main Gate open at 4 pm. The Main Gate is located at Albert & Southwood (by the Arena). There is no through traffic on Albert, nor Southwood. From Main Street, travel south along Oak Ave (at Petro Canada), Albert Ave, (by the Credit Union), or Maple Ave (by Grunthal Lumber) to reach Southwood. Park along the street, use the church parking lots, the school lots, or walk if you live in town. The Arena parking lot is for vendor & service vehicle parking only.
